Last month, Jon and Kate called it quits after ten years of marriage after the family found itself embroiled in a cheating scandal that accused both spouses of infidelity.
The 32-year-old stay-at-home dad — best known for his role as Kate’s verbal punching bag on the TLC reality series Jon & Kate Plus 8 — allegedly proposed to Glassman, a 22-year-old wildchild, with a $180K ring.
“Jon has been telling everyone that he loves her and she loves him, so why waste time? They started dating two months ago and they both just knew the other was the one instantly,” an insider close to the May-December lover spill in the new issue of In Touch, on newsstands Friday.
“Jon said to Hailey: ‘Why don’t we get married in Vegas?’ and she squealed ‘yes!’ They are already talking about staying in the Venetian Hotel on their wedding night and what sort of dress she’ll wear,” the source adds.
Gosselin and Glassman stepped out together for the first timeover the weekend in St. Tropez, where they met with Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier to finalize a deal on collaborating on a clothing line.
“They all went out to the V.I.P Room nightclub in St. Tropez after dinner,” says another source close to the group. “Hailey was flashing her ring around and they were kissing and hugging.”
