Freddy’s funky fedora, tattered sweater, and signature glove of knives will be slashing their way to the box office next spring in a blockbuster remake of the 1984 classic A Nightmare on Elm Street.
Be sure to tell us about it, because there’s no way I’ll see this. I was only four when my older brother and his friends decided it would be a good idea to let me join them as they watched A Nightmare on Elm Street IV on VHS. (Actually, I cried until they relented and let me stay — but that’s not the point.) Twenty-one years later, I’m still petrified of Freddy.
A Nightmare on Elm Street opens in theaters April 16, 2010.
